Week Fourteen

• Rolled from her back to her tummy for the first time!  She has been trying this for quite a while, but she always would manage to get an arm stuck...now she is a champ! 
• Started sleeping on her tummy.  She rolled over in the middle of the night and slept the rest of the time on her tummy.  Since she sleeps without a swaddle this didn't seem to bother her and she continued to sleep well.
• Eats her hands constantly.  There is not much time during the day that one of her hands isn't completely in her mouth.  Some may say she is teething, but I won't believe that until I see it (right Kara!?).
• Went out to breakfast with mommy and daddy for the first time.  The three of us went down to the Townhouse Restaurant about 5 minutes from our house.  We love to eat weekend breakfast there and I think Maddie enjoyed it too!  We continued family fun day with a trip to Lowes and Target...Maddie was a shoppin' fool with her mommy and daddy!
• Enjoyed her first Easter egg hunt!  Our super fun neighborhood had the second annual Lake Charm Easter egg hunt.  Maddie didn't do much hunting this year, but she looked super cute and socialized with all the other babies and new neighbors!  Our neighborhood is booming with little ones...it will be so fun to watch them all grow up together.
• Has started to eat 5oz bottles during her feedings.  She was starting to drink her 4oz bottles are daycare very quickly and always seemed to want more, so this week I started giving her 5oz bottles and she is loving them!
• Had 2 blow outs at daycare.  Those poor teachers...so far Maddie has only had 2 days where she came home in the same outfit she went to school in.  Oiy! Thanks to cousin Zuzu for all the clothes...we really use them all! :)
• Went through a MAJOR growth spurt!  I'm guessing this is the 3 month growth spurt and if we're not careful we are going to have a WNBA player on our hands.  She has been eating between 36-40oz per day and is getting up 3 times a night!  That's right, 3 times...which means mommy doesn't sleep and then goes and teaches 60 12-14 year olds who all play loud instruments all day.  We went through a lot of coffee in the morning this week!
• Continues to go to sleep fairly well.  She still goes down to sleep sometime between 6:30-7pm. We usually start bedtime around 6:15-6:30pm and if all goes well she goes down without any fussing.  If we miss her window there is only a few minutes of fussing and then out she goes.  We are VERY lucky!  
• Wakes up with a smile on her face every morning!  This is my favorite time.  When she wakes up on her own (about 11-12 hours after she goes down) she talks to herself until you go get her.  As soon as she sees a face she gets the biggest smile on hers...it's by far my favorite thing so far!  If that doesn't wake you up, I'm not sure what will. :)
